3:00-5:00pm
Students will learn how to activate pieces in coordination (be useful in the game), take a closer look at basic pawn structures, castling, strategic aims, and practice mate patterns within the context of a game. Chess notation will be introduced. Students will learn to communicate moves and ideas using the language of chess.
*Chess sets (travel size is perfect) needed for online classes. We have PRINTABLE chess sets as well!
